50 percent price hike from Turkish Airlines: Price has doubled in the last year
Turkish Airlines (THY) has implemented a 50 percent price increase for the use of its CIP lounges. With the new hike effective as of July 1, the fee for using the Istanbul domestic CIP lounge at THY has become 1,350 TL.
THY has increased the prices for its private passenger lounges by approximately 100 percent over the last year.
With the 50 percent hike implemented on July 1, the Istanbul CIP lounge usage fee increased from 900 TL to 1,350 TL; the fees became 1,250 TL in Antalya and Izmir, 1,450 TL in Bodrum, and 900 TL in Ankara, while prices at Adana, Kayseri, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Trabzon, and Rize airports became 750 TL. Additionally, the fee for the international private passenger lounge at Vnukovo (Russia) was set at 50 dollars.

ANOTHER HIKE COMING IN 6 MONTHS
Turkish Airlines increases the prices for its private passenger lounges approximately every six months. The price hikes implemented by THY for the use of private passenger lounges will be valid between July 1 and December 31, 2024, and will be increased again in the new year.
