6.7 billion lira in support payments for farmers have begun
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that support payments for farmers totaling 6 billion 669 million lira have been initiated. The payments have begun to be transferred to farmers' accounts.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made statements regarding the support payments via his social media account.
Stating that they support farmers in sustainable production and are moving forward with determined steps toward the century of abundance, Yumaklı said, "We are transferring 6 billion 669 million 644 thousand lira in support payments to our farmers' accounts today. May it be auspicious and fruitful."

According to the information in Yumaklı's post, the support amounts in question were distributed as follows:
4 billion 937 million 212 thousand 540 TL for diesel and fertilizer
1 billion 712 million 749 thousand 509 TL for grain
13 million 604 thousand 105 TL for rural development investments
6 million 77 thousand 957 TL for the use of certified seeds.
The diesel and fertilizer support will be paid to farmers whose ID or tax identification number ends in "0" after 18:00 today.
