600 million dollar loan agreement from Koç Holding
Koç Holding has signed a loan agreement totaling 600 million dollars with nine international banks to increase its financial flexibility. The loan is structured with a 5-year maturity, including a 2.5-year grace period.
Koç Holding announced that it has signed a significant loan agreement with world-renowned financial institutions such as Bank of America, BNP Paribas, HSBC, ING, and JPMorgan. Other banks involved in this agreement include MUFG Bank, Société Générale, and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong).
INTEREST RATE AND REPAYMENT PLAN OF THE LOAN
The loan will be provided at an interest rate of SOFR + 1.95 percent and, excluding expenses, will become available for use within the first 6 months following the signing of the agreement. The loan, which will have no repayments for the first 2.5 years, is planned to be repaid in 6 equal installments every 6 months thereafter. Thus, the repayment will be completed within a total period of 5 years.
With this financial move, Koç Holding aims to strengthen its balance sheet and increase its financial flexibility. Company management stated that they plan to continue their long-term collaborations with international financial circles and that such agreements will contribute to the group's investment strategies.
