63 percent hike in transportation in that province!
A 63 percent price hike has been implemented for private public bus tickets in Bolu. The full fare ticket has been increased from 15 liras to 25 liras, while the student ticket has been raised from 11 liras to 18 liras.
Upon the request of the Bolu Chamber of Drivers and Automobile Tradesmen, the agenda item regarding the price hike for private public bus tickets was discussed during the second session of the Bolu Municipality in May.
The requested price increase for private public buses and taxis used in urban transportation was accepted unanimously.
For private public buses, the full ticket price has increased from 15 liras to 25 liras, and the student ticket has been raised to 18 liras following a 63 percent hike.
The starting fare for taxis has been set at 40 liras.
