A new era begins at ATMs: Limits have completely changed

As of January 1, 2025, banks have begun new preparations. Accordingly, daily withdrawal limits, which currently range between 10 thousand TL and 15 thousand TL, are planned to be increased to a range of 15 thousand TL to 20 thousand TL at many banks starting from the new year.

According to a report by the Istanbul Ticaret Gazetesi, it is expected that banks currently applying a 15 thousand TL limit will raise this amount to 20 thousand TL, while banks that have set a 10 thousand TL limit will increase it to 15 thousand TL.

Many banks will impose restrictions on withdrawing amounts of 20 thousand TL and below from bank tellers. With this change, the new cash withdrawal limits that will apply at ATMs have also become a subject of great curiosity.
