Another company switches to hourly wage hiring model

Steel producer Erdemir will conduct mass hiring for hourly wage positions in line with its needs for 2024.

According to the statement, the application process for Erdemir's 2024 hourly wage mass hiring will begin on Monday, May 20.

Applications can be made at the Erdemir Sports Hall every weekday between 08:00 and 16:00 from May 20 to May 31.

Candidates are required to be graduates of vocational high schools or vocational colleges in the fields of electrical/electronics, industrial automation, machine technology, metal technology, metallurgy technology, and construction machinery under motor vehicle technology.

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 26 as of the announcement date (born on or after 21.05.1997 and on or before 19.05.2006). Priority will be given to those registered in the population of Kdz. Ereğli or those who began residing in Kdz. Ereğli before November 20, 2023, and currently reside there. Additionally, candidates are required to have preferably completed their military service, be deemed fit to work in very hazardous job classes during health examinations, and have no physical or mental health conditions that would prevent them from performing their duties.

In addition to physical applications made by candidates with their identity documents, applications made by first-degree relatives, including spouses and siblings, with a population registration record will also be considered valid. The application process will continue online via a link provided to candidates during the physical application. Hiring will be conducted from among the candidates who are successful in the exams and evaluations to be administered.
