Applications for the new 'breath' loan for SMEs to begin on July 8

The new 'breath' loan program, launched for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), is beginning under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). The support package, prepared in partnership with the Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) and various banks, was designed to meet the financing needs of SMEs.

Those wishing to benefit from the loan will be able to submit their applications starting from July 8-9. During the application process, branches of Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank, and Ziraat Katılım Bank will be involved.

The Credit Guarantee Fund will support the loan with a guarantee rate reaching up to 80 percent. Under this new 'breath' loan, SMEs will be able to secure financing of up to a maximum of 2.5 million TL. The loan is expected to be repaid in a total of 36 months, with a six-month grace period.

In his statement, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the contraction in SME loans has increased the capital needs of businesses, noting that pressures on cash flow lead to a contraction in the economy. "We, as TOBB, the Credit Guarantee Fund, and banks, have joined forces to alleviate the difficulties here and to support SMEs, the lifeblood of our country's economy," he said, emphasizing that every company that is a member of a chamber or exchange can apply for the loan.

Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) Chairman of the Board Erdoğan Özegen stated, "We will provide guarantees for these loans with our own equity." Özegen underscored that the KGF, as an organization with no equivalent in the world, makes a significant contribution to Turkey's economic development and announced that an 80 percent guarantee support would be provided for the 'breath' loan.

Members of chambers and exchanges affiliated with TOBB will be able to apply for the TOBB 'Breath' Loan. It was stated that the loan could be obtained as of July 8-9, 2025.

Companies wishing to use the loan must apply to the branches of Ziraat Bank, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, Akbank, Yapı Kredi, Denizbank, and Ziraat Katılım. Offered with a high guarantee rate and a long-term payment plan, this loan support aims to increase the economic activity of SMEs and alleviate their financial burdens.
