As war continues, Cevdet Yılmaz sends 'economy' message: 'Measures have been taken'

The attacks launched by the US and Israel against Iran have entered their third day. As a result of the attacks, which have been ongoing since February 28, many high-ranking figures, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have been killed.

As the tension and conflict in the region continue to escalate, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made a statement on his social media account.

Giving a message regarding the economy, Yılmaz stated the following:

"Our macroeconomic foundations are solid.

Our economy has proven its resilient structure against many external shocks experienced in the past.

Our institutions have taken proactive measures against temporary effects that may arise from the geopolitical developments in our region.

Developments will continue to be closely monitored."
