Asian markets have largely recovered

Asian markets have largely recovered since Monday.

Asia-Pacific markets followed a mixed trend on Tuesday after all major indices in the region finished the day in negative territory.

Early Tuesday, oil prices saw a slight decline after Qatar announced that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas had been extended for two more days.

In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.61 percent ahead of Wednesday's October inflation data.

South Korea's Kospi index gained 0.35 percent, while the small-cap Kosdaq saw a larger gain of 0.49 percent.

Japanese markets experienced a decline; the Nikkei 225 and Topix lost 0.23 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng index continued its losses from Monday with a 0.44 percent drop, while China's CSI 300 index remained just below the flat line.
