Attention retirees! Minister announces: Payments have started hitting accounts today
The long-awaited holiday bonus payments for retirees have begun as of today.
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan had announced that a total of 57.4 billion Turkish Lira in holiday bonus payments would be made between May 31 and June 4. Minister Işıkhan shared the details of the payments, stating, "A total of 57.4 billion TL in holiday bonuses will be paid to our retirees and beneficiaries."
It was stated that bonuses for those under Bağ-Kur will be paid on May 31, those under the Emekli Sandığı (Retirement Fund) on June 1, and those under the SSK (Social Insurance Institution) on June 2, 3, and 4. Işıkhan said, "I wish this to be auspicious and fruitful for our country's veterans, our valued retirees, and their families."
Retirees will receive a bonus of 4 thousand lira before the Eid al-Adha, just as they did for the Eid al-Fitr.
