Oğuz said, "Heavy taxes will be imposed on vehicles exceeding 1600 cc, and we can say that a tax remembered from the 90s is back on the agenda. This tax is the advance tax, which is called the tax on money you have not earned."

"WE MUST BE PREPARED FOR TAX INCREASES"

Speaking to Sözcü TV, Oğuz added: "We must be prepared for tax increases. We know that hikes will come after April 1. First of all, there were two increases in the Motor Vehicle Tax last year, but these increases may not be limited to just twice; they could be increased three or four times a year.

Another plan being worked on is increasing the VAT to 24%. In addition, an additional tax will be introduced for those who own more than one house. This tax could be quite high, and if homeowners cannot pay the tax, they may be forced to have their homes foreclosed.
