August 31 is the final day to apply for tax, traffic fine, and student loan debt installments
Installment options of up to 72 months remain available for public receivables tracked by tax offices. Applications can be submitted electronically until August 31.
The application process continues for taxpayers who wish to pay their debts to tax offices in installments. Under the regulation, certain public receivables tracked by tax offices that were due as of June 5 but remained unpaid by June 16 are eligible for installment plans.
Income tax, corporate tax, value-added tax (VAT), fees, traffic fines, ecrimisil (occupational compensation), judicial fines, and student loan debts are among the receivables covered under this scope.

The deferral interest rate to be applied to installments has been set at 29 percent annually. No collateral is required from taxpayers whose debt does not exceed 10 million liras. For debts above this amount, collateral is only required for half of the excess portion.
The installment period can extend up to 72 months for debts other than VAT. For value-added tax, the installment period is limited to 12 months.
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE
There is no requirement to visit a tax office to apply. Taxpayers can submit their applications electronically via the Revenue Administration's website, the Digital Tax Office, or e-Devlet.
Taxpayers who log in to the Digital Tax Office can view their deferrable debts through the system and complete their applications by selecting the installment option that suits them.
Those who wish to benefit from the regulation must apply by Monday, August 31. The deadline for the first payment of the restructured debts has been set for September 30; subsequent installments will be paid in monthly periods.
If installments are not paid on time or are paid partially, the deferral will be considered violated. However, failing to pay or partially paying a maximum of two installments within a calendar year will not be considered a violation.
Special consumption tax, temporary taxes related to 2026 income or corporate tax, and associated tax loss penalties, delay interest, and late payment surcharges are excluded from the scope of deferral. Stamp taxes and late payment surcharges accrued on declarations related to these taxes are also not included in the scope.
