Back-to-back hikes for diesel: July 8, 2026 gasoline, diesel, and LPG prices have changed

Fluctuations in fuel prices continue. Due to the impact of Brent crude oil prices, exchange rates, and developments in global markets, price boards have changed once again. Following yesterday's 1 lira 33 kuruş hike, diesel prices were increased by another 76 kuruş today.

As of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, gasoline, diesel, and LPG prices in Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir vary by city and district. With the current prices, the price of a liter of diesel has exceeded 66 liras in major cities.

BACK-TO-BACK DIESEL HIKES

With the latest hike, the price of diesel rose to 66.78 TL on the European side of Istanbul and 66.63 TL on the Anatolian side. The price per liter of diesel was listed as 67.90 TL in Ankara and 68.17 TL in İzmir.

While gasoline prices remain above 62 liras in Istanbul, they have exceeded 63 liras in Ankara and İzmir. The price of LPG was recorded at 31.19 TL on the European side of Istanbul and in Ankara.

JULY 8 CURRENT FUEL PRICES

Fuel prices may show minor differences depending on the province, district, and distribution companies. If there are further changes on the price boards during the day, prices may be updated again.
