Bad news for Mehmet Şimşek: Confidence in economic management hits rock bottom
The ASAL Research November 2025 Turkey Political Agenda Survey has revealed that confidence in economic management remains at only 16.6 percent.
ASAL Research conducted a new survey on the economy between November 1-9, 2025, with 2,015 people across 26 provinces.
DISTRUST IS OVER 70 PERCENT
In the survey, participants were asked, "Do you trust the economic management?" 34.4 percent of respondents chose "I do not trust it at all," while 36.0 percent chose "I do not trust it." According to these results, the total rate of distrust was calculated at 70.4 percent.
10.2 percent of participants responded to the question with "I neither trust nor distrust it."
CONFIDENCE RATE REMAINS AT 16.6 PERCENT
While the rate of those saying "I trust it" was measured at 14.0 percent, the rate of those who answered "I trust it very much" remained at the 2.6 percent level. 2.8 percent of those who participated in the survey marked the "No opinion/No answer" option.
