Bad news for vehicle owners: Gasoline price hike (Current fuel prices for Thursday, February 12)
Fuel prices have risen again following a 1.56 TL hike in the price of gasoline. Current gasoline, diesel, and LPG prices in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir are being closely monitored by drivers.
Fluctuations in global energy markets and ongoing volatility in exchange rates continue to directly impact fuel prices. Recent successive adjustments to the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) have also pushed pump prices higher.
Most recently, the price of a liter of gasoline was increased by 1.56 TL. The increase was reflected on price boards as of midnight, and drivers have begun searching for current prices.
