Banks are increasing ATM withdrawal limits: Here is the new threshold

The high rate of inflation in Turkey and the failure to meet demands for the printing of new banknotes are causing citizens to experience difficulties in meeting their daily cash needs. This situation has led banks to reorganize their ATM withdrawal limits. While private banks are taking the lead on this issue, public banks are also expected to take similar steps.

50,000 TL LIMIT

In response to the increasing demand for cash, QNB Finansbank has raised its daily ATM withdrawal limit to 50,000 TL. The bank announced that this amount can be withdrawn free of charge from ATMs both inside and outside of branches. Additionally, it was stated that for withdrawals made via QR code through the QNB Mobile application, an additional 10,000 TL can be withdrawn free of charge on top of the card limit.

These developments are considered an important step for citizens who need to carry more cash for daily expenses, particularly due to inflation.

Other banks are also expected to announce similar limit increases. However, the high commission rates applied to withdrawals exceeding current ATM limits continue to draw reactions from customers.
