Beta Enerji begins trading on Borsa İstanbul under the ticker 'BETAE'
Having completed its initial public offering, Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji AŞ has begun trading on the Borsa İstanbul Yıldız Market following a bell-ringing ceremony.
Having completed its initial public offering (IPO) process, Beta Enerji ve Teknoloji AŞ has begun trading under the ticker symbol “BETAE” following a bell-ringing ceremony held at Borsa İstanbul. The company's shares met with investors on Borsa İstanbul’s Yıldız Market.
The ceremony was attended by Borsa İstanbul AŞ General Manager Korkmaz Ergun, Beta Enerji Chairman of the Board Sabit Dağsuyu, Beta Enerji Board Member and CEO Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu, Beta Enerji Board Member and General Manager Hakkı Mert Dağsuyu, TSKB Project Leader Uğur Aydın Ünüvar, and other guests.

In his speech at the ceremony, Borsa İstanbul AŞ General Manager Korkmaz Ergun stated that Beta Enerji offers energy solutions to various sectors, primarily industry, through its developed product portfolio. Ergun noted that the company has entered the list of Turkey's top 1,000 industrial companies due to its achievements and scale.
Ergun said that Beta Enerji continues its investments in line with its growth targets, and that the proceeds from the IPO will be used to finance these investments and strengthen working capital.
GOAL IS TO BE A GLOBAL ENERGY BRAND
Beta Enerji Board Member and CEO Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu explained that the company's foundations were laid approximately 50 years ago with the goal of contributing to Turkey's energy infrastructure. Dağsuyu emphasized that as the second generation, they are working to advance the structure they inherited and to represent Turkey strongly in the global energy sector.
Stating that the world is undergoing a major energy transition, Dağsuyu noted that this process has increased the need for robust energy infrastructure and made energy supply security more critical. Mentioning that Beta Enerji exports to more than 80 countries across 6 continents, Dağsuyu expressed that their goal is to become one of the world's respected energy brands by growing their production power, technology, and export network.
Dağsuyu stated that the Beta Enerji and Technology Campus, realized with an investment of approximately 130 million dollars, is one of the important indicators of the company's future vision. He said they aim to become one of the largest transformer production campuses in Europe with this facility.
Providing information on the use of IPO proceeds, Dağsuyu stated that 45 percent of the funds will be used to complete investments, while 55 percent will be used to strengthen working capital.
TSKB Project Leader Uğur Aydın Ünüvar also said that Beta Enerji develops innovative solutions in the field of energy technologies and continues its operations with a vision of sustainable growth. Ünüvar expressed their satisfaction with bringing the company to the capital markets.
According to the information shared by Ünüvar, the number of investors who received shares in the IPO was approximately 1 million 125 thousand. Demand reached approximately 2.5 times the allocation for domestic individual investors, approximately 10 times for domestic institutional investors, and approximately 89 times for high-application individual investors.
