BIST records gains in the first half of the day
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.11 percent to 8,920.33 points in the first half of the day.
The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul increased by 10.11 points as of 13:00 compared to the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, which closed at 8,910.23 points yesterday, started the day at 8,941.46 points, up 31.23 points and 0.35 percent.
The index saw a low of 8,869.73 points and a high of 8,972.52 points during the first half of the day.
In the first half of the day, the financial index lost 0.07 percent and the technology index lost 0.06 percent, while the services index gained 0.35 percent and the industrial index gained 0.33 percent.
Compared to the previous close, 64 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose, while 34 lost value in the first half of the day.
The most actively traded stocks were Türk Hava Yolları, Ereğli Demir Çelik, Tüpraş, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), and Koç Holding.
