Bitcoin price surpasses $67,000
The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin has climbed above $67,000 after the global software outage failed to impact cryptocurrency networks.
According to data from the analysis firm Coinmarketcap, the value of the global cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, has risen by more than 4.7 percent in 24 hours, reaching 2 trillion 440 billion dollars.
Analysts state that the increase in the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies stems from the fact that cryptocurrency networks were not affected by the global software issue following the disruption in cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike's systems, and the resulting increase in investor confidence.
On the other hand, it is also noted that expectations regarding the increased likelihood of former US President Donald Trump winning the presidential race following the assassination attempt against him have positively influenced the cryptocurrency market. Trump had previously made positive remarks regarding cryptocurrency markets.
As of 23:00, Bitcoin, which saw an increase of nearly 5.9 percent in its price over the last 24 hours, reached the level of 67 thousand 62 dollars.
Ethereum, which ranks second in terms of market value, also gained 3.1 percent in value over the last 24 hours, rising to the level of 3 thousand 507 dollars.
