BOTAŞ announces: Will there be a price hike for natural gas?
The Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) has announced the natural gas sales tariff for residential and industrial subscribers, as well as for electricity generation, effective as of December 2024. While there was no change in natural gas prices, the price for residential subscribers was set at 5 thousand 631 Turkish Lira per thousand cubic meters, 8 thousand 549 Turkish Lira for bread producers, and 12 thousand Turkish Lira for gas used in electricity generation.
According to the tariff table published on BOTAŞ's website, the tariffs for residential and industrial subscribers, as well as for electricity generation, will remain unchanged for December.
Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in December has been announced as 5 thousand 631 Turkish Lira per thousand cubic meters of natural gas.

The tariff determined for bread producers was set at 8 thousand 549 Turkish Lira per thousand cubic meters of natural gas.
In the tariff for electricity generation, the price of one thousand cubic meters of natural gas was announced as 12 thousand Turkish Lira.
Natural gas price tariffs are calculated on a monthly basis.
