Breaking News: TÜİK announces August inflation! A wide gap with ENAG
According to data from TÜİK, inflation in August rose by 2.04 percent. On an annual basis, it was calculated at 32.95 percent.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the inflation figures for August.
Accordingly, inflation increased by 2.04 percent on a monthly basis in August. Annual inflation was recorded at 32.95 percent.
A WIDE GAP WITH ENAG
According to the Inflation Research Group (ENAG), which is formed by the independent studies of academics and economists, inflation increased by 3.23 percent in August compared to July.
According to ENAG's calculations, the 12-month increase in the E-CPI was 65.49 percent. Thus, the high trend in consumer prices continued.
