Brent crude oil price drops to $89.74 per barrel
The price of a barrel of Brent crude is trading at $89.74 in international markets.
After rising to as high as $91.91 on Friday, the price of a barrel of Brent crude closed the day at $91.17.
As of 09:29 today, the price of a barrel of Brent crude decreased by 1.56 percent compared to the closing price, reaching $89.74.
At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading at $85.57.
Oil prices, which had tested their highest levels in the last 5 months due to the impact of geopolitical tensions and supply concerns, showed a decline yesterday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that victory was near and that he would withdraw some troops from southern Gaza, while also committing to renew dialogue regarding a possible ceasefire with Hamas ahead of the holiday.
