BRSA gives approval: 3 new banks to be established
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has approved the establishment of 3 new banks.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has granted operating permits to Marin Yatırım Bankası AŞ, Aytemiz Yatırım Bankası AŞ, and Adil Katılım Bankası AŞ.
The decisions by the BRSA were published in the Official Gazette today.
Accordingly, following the examination and evaluation conducted within the scope of Articles 7 and 8 of the Banking Law No. 5411, the BRSA has authorized, in accordance with Article 6 of the law, the establishment of development and investment banks named "Marin Yatırım Bankası AŞ" with a capital of 1 billion 500 million TL by founding partners Mehmet Koç, Sefa Koç, Noman Tekin, Meltem Süloğlu, and Yavuz Duranoğlu, and "Aytemiz Yatırım Bankası AŞ" with a capital of 1 billion 500 million TL by founding partners Aytemiz Finansal Hizmetler AŞ, İsmail Aytemiz, Hüseyin Aytemiz, Ahmet Aytemiz, and Kerem Aytemiz.
Furthermore, following the examination and evaluation conducted within the scope of Articles 7 and 8 of the Banking Law No. 5411, the BRSA has also approved, in accordance with Article 6 of the law, the establishment of a (digital) participation bank in Turkey named "Adil Katılım Bankası AŞ" with an establishment capital of 3 billion TL by founding partners Ali Emre Ballı, Murat Yönaç, Özberk Çetinkaya, Ali Paslı, and Fahri Akcan, to operate in accordance with the principles specified for digital banks in the Regulation on Digital Banks and to submit its operating permit application within this framework.
