ÇAYKUR raises dry tea prices by 15 percent: Total increase reaches 45.5 percent in three months
It has been reported that ÇAYKUR has implemented an average price increase of 15 percent on dry tea, effective from July 6.
It has been reported that the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) has implemented a new price hike on dry tea. It was stated that the average increase of 15 percent will be effective starting July 6.
It was learned that the new price lists have begun to be sent to wholesale dealers and distributors. It was stated that the price hike will be applied to all types of dry tea.

ÇAYKUR had previously raised dry tea prices by 10 percent on April 8 and by 15 percent on May 22. With this latest increase, the total rate of price hikes for dry tea within three months has reached 45.5 percent.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry had also announced the 2026 fresh tea purchase price on May 12; the price was set at 35 liras per kilogram, an increase of 37.6 percent compared to last year.
