CBRT's net reserves excluding swaps recorded as negative
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's (CBRT) net reserves excluding swaps were recorded at negative 59.7 billion dollars for the week of March 15. Net reserves fell from 20.8 billion dollars to 19.6 billion dollars.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's (CBRT) downward trend in reserves continued during the week of March 15.
According to CBRT data, gross reserves fell from 130.5 billion dollars to 127.9 billion dollars during the relevant week. Net reserves dropped from 20.8 billion dollars to 19.6 billion dollars.
The deterioration in the CBRT's net foreign exchange position also persisted.
For the week of March 15, net reserves excluding swaps stood at negative 59.7 billion dollars.
The previous week, this figure was recorded at negative 53.9 billion dollars.
