Central Bank reserves continue to rise
The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) increased by 1 billion 406 million dollars in the week of May 31 compared to the previous week, reaching 143 billion 648 million dollars.
TCMB has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
According to TCMB data, as of May 31, total reserves increased by 1 billion 406 million dollars, rising from 142 billion 242 million dollars to 143 billion 648 million dollars.
Gross reserves increased by 1 billion 144 million dollars, rising from 82 billion 765 million dollars to 83 billion 909 million dollars.
Gold reserves increased by 264 dollars, rising from 59 billion 476 million dollars to 54 billion 790 million dollars.
Net international reserves increased by 5 billion 111 million dollars, reaching 45 billion 460 million dollars.
Net reserves excluding swaps were 1.5 billion dollars. Net reserves were announced as -5.1 billion dollars last week.
