Central Bank's 'Papara' move
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has revoked its decision to "cancel the operating license" of Papara Elektronik Para A.Ş., which it had issued on October 30, 2025.
With a communiqué published in the Official Gazette today, the TCMB has revoked the decision to "cancel the operating license" of Papara Elektronik Para A.Ş., citing the stay of execution decision by the Ankara 25th Administrative Court.
The operating license of Papara Elektronik Para A.Ş. as an electronic money institution had been canceled under Law No. 6493 by the Bank Council Decision dated October 30, 2025, and numbered 11929/21528, which was published in the October 31, 2025, issue of the Official Gazette.
