Cevdet Yılmaz announces the date for the new MTP

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz met with umbrella organizations of the business world, non-governmental organizations, and industrialists at the Presidential Palace as part of the preparations for the Medium-Term Program (MTP) covering the 2027-2029 period.

Making a statement on his social media account regarding the meeting, Yılmaz stated that the expectations, views, and suggestions of the business world were heard for the MTP, which will set out the roadmap for the economy for the next three years, its basic macroeconomic targets, policy framework, and structural reform agenda.

Yılmaz stated that the final stage has been reached in the preparations carried out under the coordination of the Presidency of Strategy and Budget and the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, with the contributions of relevant ministries and institutions.

Emphasizing that the program is being prepared with a participatory and consultation-based approach, Yılmaz announced that they plan to share the details of the 2027-2029 MTP with the public on Sunday, September 6.

Yılmaz also noted that the implementation process of the program will be closely monitored within the framework of the determined schedule.
