ATTENTION TO VEHICLES WITHOUT INSPECTION
TÜVTÜRK has banned vehicles without inspections from traffic and stated that for drivers who purchase a new car, there is no requirement to have an inspection for the first 3 years.
TÜVTÜRK emphasized that it aims to shorten inspection times and reduce congestion by delegating exhaust emission measurement procedures to different authorized dealers. Furthermore, it continues its efforts to reduce appointment density with mobile stations put into operation in 77 cities across Turkey.
While it was stated that passenger cars, tractors, and motorcycles can be inspected at mobile stations, it was noted that the inspection of vehicles with air-assisted hydraulic brake systems can only be performed at fixed stations.
Information was provided that exhaust gas emission measurements are only carried out at fixed and authorized mobile stations. It was stated that tractor inspections can be performed at all mobile and fixed stations.
