CHP Chairman Özgür Özel spoke about the minimum wage at his party's parliamentary group meeting. Stating that even according to TÜİK data, the minimum wage should be 28,267 TL, Özel announced that this figure should be 30,205 TL when accounting for real inflation.

Announcing that they have prepared an incentive package of 6,250 TL per employee to support small businesses, Özel stated that with this increase, the state's social security (SGK) premium revenue would increase by 51.5 billion TL.
