Claim: Erdoğan to give Hafize Gaye Erkan a new role; she will lead the Investment and Finance Office

It has been claimed that former Central Bank Governor Hafize Gaye Erkan will head the newly established Investment and Finance Office. It was reported that Erkan will lead the Investment and Finance Office, which was established by Presidential Decree No. 183 published in the Official Gazette. It is noted that Erkan has been developing new projects since the day she left her post, and she is expected to put these projects into practice in her new role.

It was announced that the Digital Transformation Office and the Human Resources Office were closed by presidential decree, and that the Finance Office and the Investment Office were merged under the name of the Investment and Finance Office. It was claimed that Erkan would be brought to the head of this new entity.

According to a report by Gerçek Gündem columnist Hatice Turhan, Hatice Turhan recalled in her article that Erkan was seen in front of the Turkish House (Türkevi) during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to New York last September.
