CMB temporarily suspends capital market activities of three brokerage firms

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced in its bulletin dated October 20, 2026, that it has decided to temporarily suspend the activities of three brokerage firms.

According to the Board's decision, the capital market activities of Alnus Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, and Pusula Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ have been temporarily suspended as of 00:01 on October 21, 2026.

It was stated that the decisions were taken within the scope of the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 and the provisions of the relevant communiqués.

The CMB bulletin also announced that, following an investigation into HSBC Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, it was decided to impose an administrative fine of 354 thousand 803 Turkish Lira and 96 kuruş. The reason for the fine was recorded as the failure to conduct sufficient research regarding the determination of the statute of limitations for cash and securities, and the failure to exercise the necessary professional care and diligence.

The Board also ruled that Metas Gayrimenkul Değerleme ve Danışmanlık AŞ be removed from the list of authorized institutions in the field of real estate appraisal.

In the same bulletin, it was reported that Fiba Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ was granted approval for a nominal issuance ceiling of 1 billion Turkish Lira for the issuance of bonds and financing bills. The issuance is planned to be carried out through private placement and sales to qualified investors.
