Commentary on the 9th Judicial Package from Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç thanked the members of the TBMM Justice Commission and all the deputies who supported the legislative process of the 9th Judicial Package, stating, "The aim is to increase the effectiveness of our justice services, accelerate judicial processes, ensure effective combat against crime, strengthen the criminal justice system and legal security, protect and expand fundamental rights and freedoms, and broaden the scope of alternative dispute resolution methods in civil and criminal matters."
Minister Tunç announced in a post on his social media account that the Law on Amendments to Certain Laws, known in the public as the 9th Judicial Package, which was accepted and enacted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly, has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
Thanking those who contributed to the legislative process of the legal regulation in question, Tunç used the following expressions:
"With the 9th Judicial Package; the aim is to increase the effectiveness of our justice services, accelerate judicial processes, ensure effective combat against crime, strengthen the criminal justice system and legal security, protect and expand fundamental rights and freedoms, and broaden the scope of alternative dispute resolution methods in civil and criminal matters.
