Commercial rent increase cap announced
With the announcement of November inflation data, the ceiling rate for rent increases that can be applied to commercial properties in December has been determined.
The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced the consumer price index for November. Accordingly, the 12-month average data, which is used as the basis for rent increases under normal conditions, has also been clarified. Thus, the ceiling rate for rent increases that can be applied in November was realized at percent.
In October, it was recorded as 53.40 percent based on twelve-month averages.
25 PERCENT INCREASE IN HOUSING
It was announced that the 25 percent ceiling increase application for residential rents, which ended on July 1, will continue. The application will remain in effect until July 2, 2024.
