Competition Board approves several acquisition transactions

The Competition Board has granted permission for several acquisition transactions.

According to announcements on the Competition Authority's website, the acquisition of sole control of CJ Selecta S.A. and its parent holding company CJ Latam Participacoes Ltda by Bunge Global S.A., through Bunge Alimentos S.A., has been deemed appropriate.

The acquisition of sole control of Viterra Limited by Bunge Global SA has been approved.

The establishment of joint control over M Plus Croatia d.o.o. by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Meritus ulaganja d.d. has been permitted.

The acquisition of sole control of Mirati Therapeutics, Inc. by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company has been deemed appropriate.

The establishment of a full-function joint venture by Musashi Auto Parts India Private Limited, Delta Electronics, Inc., and Toyota Tsusho Corporation has been approved.

The acquisition of joint control over Energy Exemplar by funds advised or managed by affiliates of Blackstone Inc. and Vista Equity Partners Management, LLC, through Adelaide Bidco Ltd, has been permitted.

The acquisition of the application modernization and connectivity business unit of Open Text Corporation by Bain Capital Investors, LLC, through Rocket Software, Inc., has been deemed appropriate.

It has been decided to grant permission for the acquisition of sole control of OYAK Çimento Fabrikaları AŞ by Taiwan Cement Corporation through the transfer of shares to TCC Amsterdam Holdings B.V.
