Concordat decision for 9 shopping malls
A concordat decision has been issued for 9 shopping malls, including Marmara Forum and Forum İstanbul, due to their 28 billion TL debt.
The Istanbul 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance has granted a one-year definitive period for the companies that own and share the names of Forum İstanbul, Marmara Forum, Forum Çamlık, Forum Aydın, Forum Erzurum, Forum Kapadokya, Forum Ankara, Gordion, and Forum Magnesia.
During this period, creditors will not be able to initiate enforcement proceedings against the companies. According to a report by Gazete Oksijen, the companies will negotiate payment plans with creditors during this one-year period, and the fate of the shopping malls will be determined at a meeting to be held at the end of the year.
3 GROUPS HAVE APPLIED TO PURCHASE
While the legal process regarding the 9 shopping malls continues, there are also initiatives by certain groups to acquire these malls.
According to information obtained from the real estate market, the names of Yeni Gimat GYO, Nata Holding, and Rönesans GYO are being mentioned among the potential buyers.
