Confidence index falls in the construction sector
The confidence index increased by 1.2 percent in the service sector and by 4.5 percent in the retail trade sector, while it decreased by 3.3 percent in the construction sector.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the Service, Retail Trade, and Construction Confidence Indices for December. Accordingly, the confidence index increased by 1.2 percent in the service sector and by 4.5 percent in the retail trade sector, while it decreased by 3.3 percent in the construction sector.
The seasonally adjusted confidence index in December, compared to the previous month, rose by 1.2 percent in the service sector to reach 112.3, increased by 4.5 percent in the retail trade sector to reach 116.8, and decreased by 3.3 percent in the construction sector to reach 88.
