‘Cost increase’ price hike from a rakı group! The cheapest has exceeded 500 TL

Another price hike has hit alcoholic beverages. Products from the Mey rakı group have been repriced, citing rising costs. The cheapest rakı has risen to 549 TL, while a 70cl bottle has reached 1495 TL.

‘Cost increase’ price hike from a rakı group! The cheapest has exceeded 500 TL

Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD), announced in a statement on his social media account that a price hike has been applied to the Mey rakı group.

Rising production and supply costs were cited as the reason for the hike. Along with his statement, Dündar also shared the new price list with his followers.

According to the shared list, the most affordable 35cl rakı from the Mey group has hit the shelves at 549 TL. The 70cl products of the same brand have risen to as much as 1495 TL.
