The date is set: Gasoline price hike coming
Following the rise in Brent crude oil prices in international markets, a price increase of 1 TL per liter of gasoline is expected on Saturday.
A new wave of increases in fuel prices is on the agenda. Journalist Olcay Aydilek stated in a post on social media that if product prices in international markets rise slightly further, a price hike of approximately 1 TL could be applied to gasoline starting Saturday. Aydilek emphasized that a price increase is likely, stating, "A gasoline price hike is at the door."
Rising geopolitical tensions and risks in the Middle East are causing Brent crude oil prices to climb. This situation is also being reflected in fuel prices.
