Date set: Massive price hike coming for bridge and highway tolls!
Economist Şenol Babuşcu has claimed that bridge and highway tolls will see an increase of over 50 percent in November.
Prof. Dr. Şenol Babuşçu, Head of the International Finance and Banking Department at Başkent University, has announced that bridge and highway tolls will be increased by 50 percent in November.
DATE SET: HIKE COMING IN NOVEMBER
Sharing the news on his social media account, Babuşçu stated, "Work is underway to implement a hike of over 50% on bridge and highway tolls in November."

The reasons cited for the hike include the rise in foreign exchange rates, inflation rates, and investment costs.
BRIDGE AND HIGHWAY TOLLS
The toll for the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge is 8 lira and 50 kuruş for one-way passenger cars. Light commercial vehicles pay 11 lira, and motorcycles pay 3 lira and 50 kuruş.
Osmangazi Bridge: 190 lira
Çanakkale Bridge: 205 lira
Ankara-Niğde Highway: 140 lira
Malkara-Çanakkale Highway: 280 lira
