Decline in Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) total reserves fell by 2 billion 612 million dollars in the week of September 6 compared to the previous week, dropping to 146 billion 761 million dollars.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
As reported by AA, as of September 6, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 2 billion 761 million dollars to 86 billion 568 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 89 billion 329 million dollars on August 29.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 150 million dollars, rising from 60 billion 43 million dollars to 60 billion 193 million dollars.
Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 2 billion 612 million dollars in the week of September 6 compared to the previous week, falling from 149 billion 373 million dollars to 146 billion 761 million dollars.
