Decline in Central Bank reserves: 149 billion 373 million dollars
The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) decreased by 1 billion 40 million dollars in the week of August 29 compared to the previous week, falling to 149 billion 373 million dollars.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
Accordingly, as of August 29, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 1 billion 385 million dollars to 89 billion 329 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 90 billion 715 million dollars on August 23.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 345 million dollars, rising from 59 billion 698 million dollars to 60 billion 43 million dollars.
Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 1 billion 40 million dollars in the week of August 29 compared to the previous week, falling from 150 billion 413 million dollars to 149 billion 373 million dollars.
