Decline in KKM stocks in August: Fell to the $51.1 billion level

The total stock balance of Foreign Currency Protected Deposit/Participation (DDKKM) accounts decreased by $6.1 billion in August, falling to $51 billion. The CBRT published the August results for DDKKM and TL KKM accounts. According to the data, the DDKKM stock balance fell from $57.1 billion to $51 billion. The individual DDKKM stock balance fell by $3.8 billion to $37.3 billion, while the corporate DDKKM stock balance decreased by $2.3 billion to $13.7 billion.

In August, the TL KKM stock balance fell from 7.9 billion liras to 3.9 billion liras.
