STORES WITH MORE THAN 200 BRANCHES

Accordingly, chain stores in the food retail sector that sell fast-moving consumer goods and have more than 200 branches are now required to keep gluten-free flour, as well as sweet and savory snacks, available for sale in branches with a sales area of more than 250 square meters.

The stores in question will also be required to keep gluten-free bread, flour, pasta, and sweet and savory snacks available for sale in branches with a sales area of more than 400 square meters, in a manner that ensures continuity and in quantities sufficient to meet demand.

Some provisions of the regulation will enter into force on June 1, and others on September 1, 2024.
