The volatility in exchange rates and oil prices, along with tax hikes, continues to affect fuel prices.
According to a report by NTV, a price increase of 1 lira and 34 kuruş is expected for diesel, effective from midnight.
CURRENT FUEL PRICES
According to current fuel pump prices;
In Istanbul, the price of a liter of diesel is sold at 39.28 liras, while a liter of gasoline is sold at an average of 40.26 liras.
HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
When calculating gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey, the refinery sales price excluding VAT is determined by adding the SCT (Special Consumption Tax) and the EMRA share to the duty-free refinery price.
When calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily dollar exchange rate are tracked, and the duty-free refinery ceiling sales price is obtained based on a certain price change margin.
