The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has refuted claims circulating in some media outlets and social media platforms that "mass exits are occurring from the Private Pension System (BES) due to developments in capital markets."
In a statement issued by the DMM, it was noted that the claims in question do not reflect the truth, and it was stated that current BES statistics do not show a negative trend for the system.
The statement recorded that there has been a net increase of more than 100 thousand contracts in the last month and that a significant amount of new capital has entered the system.
When current BES statistics are examined, there is no negative trend in the system. On the contrary, there has been a net increase of more than 100 thousand contracts in the last month, and a significant amount of new capital has entered the system.
The DMM stated that BES continues to grow with state contributions, trust, and an environment of stability, calling on the public to only consider statements from authorized official institutions.
The statement further requested that no credence be given to speculative content intended to create distrust and unrest in the markets.
