Dollar exceeds 34 TL
Continuing its upward trend since the beginning of the week, the dollar has broken a new record by exceeding 34 TL.
The Turkish Lira continues to lose value against the Dollar.
As of 10:58, the Dollar exceeded 34 TL, breaking a new record. The Euro is trading at 37.85 TL.
After rising to the 33.96 level yesterday, the Dollar/TL exchange rate was trading just on the threshold of 34 in the morning hours on the last trading day of the week.
The Dollar/TL reached a high of 34.0018 during the day. As of 11:20, the rate was trading at 34.0005.
The Lira's loss of value against the dollar has risen to 0.9 percent since the beginning of the week and to 2.5 percent since the beginning of the month. The Lira had lost approximately 0.9 percent of its value in July.
