Dollar forecast from Societe Generale: Strong US economy may continue to support the dollar
The French bank projects that the DXY could rise to 103.6 by the end of the year, driven by a outlook of strong growth and high interest rates.
Societe Generale has assessed that the strong growth outlook in the US economy could lead to the dollar remaining supported through the second half of 2026. According to the French bank, the high interest rate environment may continue to be a decisive factor in the dollar maintaining its strong global trajectory.

The bank estimated that the DXY dollar index could rise to the 103.6 level by the end of the year. Within the same framework, it was projected that the euro/dollar parity could decline to the 1.11 level.
In Societe Generale's assessment, it was emphasized that strong economic activity could cause inflation to remain above target. It was noted that this outlook could reduce the pressure on the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to cut interest rates and strengthen support for the dollar.
