Economic confidence at its lowest level in 11 months
The economic confidence index decreased by 1.5 percent on a monthly basis in July to 94.4.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the economic confidence index data for July.
Accordingly, the index, which was 95.8 in June, fell by 1.5 percent in July to 94.4.
In the same period, the consumer confidence index decreased by 3.1 percent to 75.9.
The real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index fell by 1.8 percent to 98.7.
The services sector confidence index decreased by 1.1 percent to 114.1, the retail trade sector confidence index fell by 1.5 percent to 107.1, and the construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.9 percent to 87.1.
