Economic confidence index decreased by 1.3 percent in November to 95.3
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the economic confidence index for November. Accordingly, the economic confidence index fell to 95.3 in November.
The economic confidence index decreased by 1.3 percent in November to 95.3. The index had stood at 96.5 in October.
Compared to the previous month, in November, the Consumer Confidence Index increased by 1.1 percent to 75.5, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 1.3 percent to 103.9, the services sector confidence index decreased by 2.4 percent to 110.9, the retail trade sector confidence index decreased by 1.9 percent to 111.7, and the construction sector confidence index increased by 2.2 percent to 91.0.
An economic confidence index value greater than 100 indicates optimism regarding the general economic situation, while a value less than 100 indicates pessimism regarding the general economic situation.
